The governing All Progressives Congress (APCNational )’s Working Committee (NWC) has assumed control of the party’s National Executive Council for the next 90 days.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the APC National Working Committee, chaired by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, will now consider decisions that may require the participation of the NEC over the next two months.

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the party’s National Secretary, made the announcement at the party’s NEC meeting, which is now taking place at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State backed Senate President Ahmed Lawan’s resolution to transfer NEC powers to the NWC, according to Omisore.
The APC scribe said the transfer of NEC powers to the NWC was in line with Artctle13(3) of the party’s Constitution.
