2023 Presidency: I Owe Nobody Apology – Ngige Fumes

Chris Ngige, Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, has stated that he has what it takes to become the country’s next president.

The senator, who has declared his candidacy for president under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has outlined several attributes that he believes the country’s president should have.

He stated that the country’s leader should be intellectual, bold, forceful, and visionary.

This was declared by Ngige during a public presentation of Chief Chekwas Okorie’s book, “APGA and the Igbo Question.”

In a statement posted through his media office, the minister went on to say that he is the best man for the position and that he owes no one an apology for running.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a presidential candidate, claims that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has ultimate say on allocating the presidential ticket to the South East.

He said this after being tested by the PDP Presidential Screening Committee, led by former Senate President David Mark, at the party’s Presidential Campaign Headquarters, Legacy House in Abuja, on Friday.

Further, Obi stated that he will accept the party’s choice on zoning on the topic, adding that he will not be offended if the presidential ticket is not zoned to the South East.
