The uproar in Bauchi State over suspected blasphemy has intensified, with reports that a pastor has been seriously hurt.

Chaos erupted in the Katangan region of the Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State on Friday (yesterday), according to Anaedoonline.ng.

The disturbance is claimed to have begun after a woman named Roda Jatau allegedly shared a blasphemous video clip in a WhatsApp group primarily made up of her Muslim coworkers.

Muslim fundamentalists in the neighborhood are said to have started battles with Christians in response to the development.
