Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi’s bid for President of Nigeria has been supported by Peter Okoye of the PSquare musical group.
On Monday, Peter Okoye, commonly known as Mr. P, took to Twitter to characterize Obi as a disciplined and moral guy who can redeem Nigeria.
The musician, who has previously stated that he does not participate in politics, has made an exception for Peter Obi since he is the best qualified.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Obi is running on the Peoples Democratic Party’s ticket in the 2023 presidential election.
If he is to emerge as the PDP candidate, he must overcome the hurdles at the primary, but new reports claim that South East presidential aspirants under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are working to present former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, as the region’s sole candidate at the presidential primary in Abuja.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the opposition PDP has scheduled their presidential primary on May 28 and 29.
The candidates are expected to offer the former Anambra governor as their consensus candidate to compete with other hopefuls from other states.
According to reports, contenders including former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, industrialist Sam Ohabunwa, and Nwachukwu Anakwenze may have reached an agreement to promote Obi as the South East’s consensus candidate.
Some of the region’s major candidates reached out to others to form a consensus candidate for the PDP’s presidential nomination in the South East.
