Andrew Ejimadu, a Nigerian-born self-proclaimed prophet, has advised his followers to abstain from sex for a year in order to solve Africa’s various issues.

On Wednesday, the prophet known as Prophet Seer1 and the General Overseer of Christ Freedom Church announced this on his Facebook page.

Ejimadu, who lives in South Africa and is well-known in East and Southern Africa, including Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, and Rwanda, stated that such joint abstinence will prompt God to intervene.

He said the announced abstinence from sex should be practised by both singles and married. He said this will ensure complete holiness needed to seek God’s attention in solving the continent’s problems.
