According to a source, certain governors who were elected on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform have decided to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the PDP has been in turmoil as a result of Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s national chairman, refusing to step down in response to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State’s demand that he support Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate.

Ayu should be replaced by a southerner, according to the governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde and a former deputy national chairman of the PDP named Olabode George, among others.

Some PDP governors and leaders are now said to be working for the APC presidential candidate, sources have told Newsmen.

The source claims that if the PDP crisis persists, PDP governors and leaders will back Tinubu’s candidacy.

The potential collaboration with Tinubu was confirmed by a source familiar with the APC’s operations, who stated, “Of course, it is genuine.”

The insider stated: “You should be aware that not all PDP governors will back Atiku based on how the PDP is managing its crisis. It is both obvious and glaring.
