On Wednesday, an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court remanded Dr Olufemi Olaleye, 57, of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, for alleged defilement of his wife’s 15-year-old niece.
The court remanded him after he entered his plea to a two-count charge of child defilement and sexual assault by penetration filed by the Lagos State Government against him.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge brought against him and was granted bail in the sum of N50 million with two sureties in the same amount.
