Tinubu Launches Campaign To Raise N5 Billion From Nigerian Masses

Tinubu has launched a campaign to earn N5 billion from Nigerians after party All Progressive Congress (APC) sold the presidential form for N100 million and delegates bought for $100,000 in the last presidential election.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, has launched a digital campaign urging Nigerians to help him raise N5 billion for his 2023 electoral attempt.

Bashir Ahmad, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s deputy director of Special Media Projects/New Media, announced this on Tuesday.

“Our candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima call on all Nigerians to join them as they shape the next chapter of our history.

“Donate to Tinubu/Shettima campaign today and help actualize the vision for our great country. Thank you!” Mr Bashir tweeted.

As of press time, close to N19 million had been donated to the platform, with donors including Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr Tinubu’s running mate Kashim Shettima, and former Kogi State governor Audu Abubakar, among others.
