On Saturday, news outlets learned that Tinubu had returned to Nigeria, but there were no airport ceremonies or images given to the public commemorating his homecoming from the United Kingdom.

“Tinubu has secretly returned to Nigeria. The campaign team did not release any airport ceremonies or photos to the public. This could be due to fatigue on the ailing candidate. Tinubu returned home by 3am this morning (Saturday) without fanfare,” a top source told Newsmen.

According to the APC presidential campaign council, Tinubu would campaign in the United Kingdom, the United States, and two additional nations.

Tinubu, however, returned to Nigeria without the usual hoopla after a trip to the United Kingdom.

Anaedoonline.ng reported earlier last week that Tinubu was planning to travel abroad beginning December 4.

According to his campaign team, the purpose of the trip was for him to engage with global leaders about his presidential bid.

Tinubu’s presidential campaign has raised eyebrows due to his health issues.

Unconfirmed reports indicated Tinubu took a long time to get off the plane when he visited Niger State in February, and that he needed assistance.

According to reports, Tinubu spent almost four months visiting hospitals in France, the United States, and the United Kingdom, where he underwent various surgeries as part of his quest to succeed Muhammadu Buhari.

He was taken out of the nation to Paris, France, a few days before Christmas in 2020.
