Two Arrested For Stealing Vehicle Belonging To US Embassy

The Lagos State Police Command has detained two men, Toheeb Jimoh, 26, and Habeeb Ishola, 35, for allegedly stealing a Nissan Rogue that belonged to the US Embassy.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police command’s spokesperson, said that a report had been made that some assailants had driven off with a truck carrying the US Embassy’s brand-new Nissan Rogue from where it had been parked.

In response to the complaint, the police launched a thorough investigation that resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the truck. While attempting to sell the entire truck and its contents for N5 million, the suspects were detained.

Hundeyin said the truck is presently at the State Headquarters, Ikeja.
