UPDATE: Organised Labour To Take Fresh Decision Few Hours To Nationwide Protest

The Organized Labour has suggested that it will reconsider its position on the statewide demonstration, which is set to begin on Wednesday.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Secretary, Emma Ugbaja, made the suggestion at the end of the Presidential Steering Committee on Palliatives meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to Ugbaja, while President Bola Tinubu’s initiatives announced Monday evening were welcome, they were not far-reaching enough.

He did, however, state that the Labour team would return to the bodies they represent in order to get an agreement on the next course of action.
