Veteran Nigerian musician Charles Oputa, also known by his stage as Charly Boy, has criticized President Bola Tinubu for the quality of the candidates he has put forward for ministerial nominations.

The majority of the nominees, in his opinion, sound like crooks.

The performer questioned how a person could be born in 1980 and earn their secondary school diploma in 1989.
