Sit-at-home: Simon Ekpa Counters IPOB On Economic Empowerment Day

Popular Biafra agitator and separatist Simon Ekpa has called out as false and inaccurate assertions that there was a “Economic Empowerment Day.”

The Biafra Republic Government’s Prime Minister, Ekpa, a lawyer with a base in Finland, announced this on Saturday via his verified Twitter account.

He was responding to a proclamation that Monday was “Economic Empowerment Day” made by Emma Powerful, the spokesperson for the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Ekpa, however, emphasised that Igbos should reject the assertion.

He reaffirmed his commitment to liberation and a referendum for Biafra.

He said: “There is nothing like economic empowerment in Biafra within Nigeria. After the two weeks sit-at-home. Since these criminals and corrupt politicians are taking us for granted, we will continue to observe civic disobedience in the Eastern region. Biafrans should wait for the announcement,” he wrote.
