Two Rescued From Eko Atlantic Ocean After Boat Capsizes

Two men were saved from drowning by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service on Friday after their boat capsized in the Eko Atlantic Ocean near the Eko Hotel and Suites neighborhood of Victoria Island.
The event, according to information, happened on Friday at 9:12 am.
The Oba Oniru Fire Station of the Lagos State Fire was used to rescue the victims, according to Margaret Adeseye, director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.

Other state emergency responders and a private Boat Catheriner crew worked with the fire department to successfully save the victims’ lives.

It was gathered that the survivors whose names were given as Sanu Dewan, age 20 and Seraphin Meto, ago 40 were on a journey from Makoko, Ebute-Meta when the accident happened before they were saved from the jaws of death.

“Both victims are being attended to by appropriate government responders and in stable conditions,” Adeseye stated.
