UNICEF Nigeria Announces Kate Henshaw, Cobhams, Ali Nuhu, Waje As UNICEF Champions

Cobhams Asuquo, WAJE, Kate Henshaw, and Ali Nuhu, who are all artists and actors, have been named UNICEF Champions for a year by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The international children’s organization claims that this distinguished group of leaders would be strong advocates for child rights in Nigeria.

In a statement released yesterday in Abuja, Ms. Cristian Munduate, the UNICEF representative in Nigeria, stated that over the course of the coming year, these champions will collaborate with UNICEF to raise important issues pertaining to children in areas like health, education, nutrition, child protection, water sanitation, and hygiene.

Munduate the commitment and unmatched influence of the champions stressing that their dedication and passion for children’s rights will undeniably amplify the urgency of the issues we fight for daily.”
