Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State, reportedly hit an unidentified bike rider on Sunday who was purportedly carrying a passenger.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, the tragedy happened at the old Soldier Junction in Ohafia when a bike rider tried to pass the governor’s convoy.
The tragedy allegedly occurred a short while after the governor departed the location of his deputy, Ikechukwu Emetu,’s kid dedication, according to the whistlers.

According to a source in the governor’s motorcade, Otti ordered the wounded to be promptly taken by ambulance to the hospital, where they are currently responding to treatment.
The source said, “A bike guy carrying another guy came out from the right side of the road and suddenly hit the car in front of my own and landed on his bumper. They both fell into gutter.
“Our ambulance immediately picked them up and took them to the hospital. They had injuries but are currently responding to treatment.”
