The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu won the election on February 25, 2023, according to a ruling confirmed by the Presidential Election Petition Court.

As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, the tribunal maintained President Tinubu’s election victory and dismissed the Labour Party’s appeal to challenge it.

But the LP National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, stated in a statement on Wednesday shortly after the court made its judgement that the party categorically disagreed with the outcome.

The party claimed that the February 25 electoral heist was witnessed by Nigerians, who added that justice was not delivered and that the outcome did not reflect the law or the will of the people.

The LP praised the tenacity of its legal team for fearlessly exposing the fury of the system, saying that while it could only mourn for Nigeria’s democracy, it would not give up on the nation.

The statement reads, “The Labour Party watched with dismay and trepidation the dismissal of petitions by the five-man panel of the Presidential Election Petition Court led by Justice Haruna Tsammani today and we reject the outcome of the judgment in its entirety because justice was not served and it did not reflect the law and the desire of the people.

“Nigerians were witnesses to the electoral robbery that took place on February 25, 2023, which was globally condemned but the Tribunal in its wisdom refused to accept the obvious.
