The governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has said that his administration plans to demolish a number of buildings in Awka, the state’s capital, in order to transform the area into the Dubai-inspired metropolis of his dreams.
After taking part in the monthly Solution Walk For Healthy Living at the Anambra State stadium Awka on Saturday, Soludo made this statement.
After some property is demolished, Awka will be transformed into a true State capital, of which everyone would be proud, claims Soludo.

“Those living in Awka, we will demolish Awka and build a befitting capital for us. We will also build a flyover across the highway in Awka.
When Anambra State turns 33 years old in the next year, Awka will be the official capital, and the governor of the state will dwell there for the first time, in the government house, for the first time.
Additionally, Soludo promised that every kobo the state government under his leadership produced will be wisely invested in sustainable development for the benefit of the populace.
He claims that he is extremely passionate about fostering long-term human capital development.
The governor asked the youth to put in a lot of effort to make a good living since Ndi Anambra value industry and hard work.

Additionally, he urged young people to take the state government’s ongoing One Youth Two Skills plan seriously because it might be their big break in life.
He claims that the administration he leads is committed to making a positive difference in the state’s citizens’ and youngsters’ lives.
