These principals have been accused of acting against the state’s policy on free education. The investigation into their alleged non-compliance will be carried out by a committee established for this purpose. If found guilty, the principals may be required to reimburse any fees collected in violation of the free education policy.

Governor Soludo has been vocal about his commitment to the “solution-free education policy,” which ensures that students in Anambra State from early childhood development to Junior Secondary School do not have to pay any fees. Additionally, students in Senior Secondary School are only required to pay a maximum of N5,000 in line with the policy.
