During a suicide attempt on the Lekki Phase 1 Link Bridge in Lagos State, a man who has not yet been named was saved.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the man left a location in the state and went to the bridge to try to hang himself.
It was discovered that a few drivers and bystanders acted fast to step in and save the man from fatally hanging himself.

A social media video that went viral showed the man battling alongside helpful people trying to save him.
The incident resulted in traffic congestion on the main highway.
Onlookers point the finger at the pervasive economic difficulties even though it is unclear why the individual chose to terminate his life.
