Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has made references to running in 2027.

While praising the youth of Nigeria for their support in the 2023 presidential election, Obi made the statement.

In his remarks, he attacked the Supreme Court for upholding President Bola Tinubu’s election during a global press conference in Abuja.

Obi stated that Nigerians’ faith in the legal system was shaken by the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Obi claims that the ruling puts a stop to his quest for justice on the way the 2023 presidential election was handled.

He said: “The energy of Nigerian youths has been amazing and I want to assure them that this is not the end of our journey but it is the beginning

“We shall endure, persist until we reaches our destination because one Nigeria is our destination.”
