Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kogi State, has appealed for the cancellation of elections in five Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The impacted LGAs were listed as Okene, Okehi, Ajaokuta, Adavi, and Ogori/Mangogo by Melaye, who made the demand using his official X account.
According to Melaye, the results of these LGA elections have been tainted.

He stressed on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) taking decisive action by annulling the results in the affected areas.
Dino claimed in his statement that the alleged irregularities were coordinated at the highest level of INEC, and he called the entire process in the affected LGAs a “scam.”
