Mawuli Gavor was born in Accra, Ghana, and spent most of his childhood in his home country Ghana where he had most of his early education before moving to the United States to complete his studies.

Much is not known about his birthday other than the fact that he posted a picture on the 22nd day of March with the caption ‘Corona Birthday’, so it’s widely held that he is born on the 22nd day of March. The specific year isn’t known but he is said to be in his mid-30s.

Gavor has two siblings, a sister, Ewuraesi Gavor, and also a brother, both of whom are living in the United States of America.

He attended Franklin and Marshal College situated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance.

Career

Having finished studying Business and Finance in the United States of America, Mawuli Gavor went back to Accra, Ghana where he started working with an accounting firm as an accountant employee. He was however trying his shots at modelling, a part-time job that he started as far back as when he was just 19 years of age.

He made it big in the modelling industry when he landed his first major deal, serving as brand ambassador for Martin Global for Ghana, and decided to quit his job. He was also later made the Martin ambassador for Nigeria.

From being in the modelling industry which is apparently the same thing as the entertainment industry, he finally decided to give the acting aspect of the entertainment industry a chance and had his film debut in Nollywood in the year 2015 when he featured in the movie titled “A Place Called Happy”.

In this movie, he had the opportunity to feature with many talented Nollywood actors such as Blossom Chukwujekwu, Sika Osei, Kiki Omeli, etc.

He came down to Nigeria to shoot the movie and later went back to Nigeria. After a while, he had to relocate permanently to Nigeria after he was cast in the Africa Magic TV Series: “Hush”.

Since then, Mawuli Gavor has featured in so many Nollywood movies and is getting to be the toast of the ladies and also his fans who are thrilled by his handsome looks and nice acting.

Awards, relationship, and net worth

Gavor has some accolades to his name for his acting skills. He received the award for the Best Kiss in a movie, he won this with Olivia Orji at the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) 2018. He was also awarded the Movie Personality of the Year during the Glitz STYLES award in 2019.
