The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has began the screening of aspirants vying for the state House of Assembly seats on the platform of the party in Anambra State.
Anaedoonline.ng gathered that Screening Of State House of Assembly Prospective Aspirants is currently ongoing at Party Secretariat in Awka.
Aspirants who have obtained and submitted their expression of interest and nomination forms are only the ones that will be screened.

It was learnt that members of the screening committee from the national headquarters in Abuja are already in Awka for the assignment, which has been promised will be free, fair, and transparent.
For Nnewi North Constituency, it was learnt that Comrade Ibeneme Onyeka, Architect Izuchukwu Okwumuo, Ambassador Charles Nwonye, and Hon. Peter Nwosu are the only aspirants that bought and submitted their nomination and expression of interest forms.
The screening which began this morning is expected to end tomorrow, Wednesday.
It is currently being reported that one of the aspirants in Nnewi North worked against the party during the Gubernatorial election.
BARR OSIGWE FLAGS OFF CAMPAIGN, PROMISES QUALITY REPRESENTATION
According to Article 27(f) of Chapter 5 in APGA constitution (2019) states that to qualify for participation in the APGA Primary, an aspirant must be a duly registered member of the party for a period of not less than 18 months prior to the National Assembly primary election unless waived by the National working Committee in accordance with Article 24 (8).
