An umbrella group uniting the Igbos in Ireland and the United Kingdom, Ogbako Ndi Igbo UK and Ireland is hosting her NATIONAL IRI JI FESTIVAL titled A CELEBRATION OF IGBO CULTURE.
The event which is like a summer thanksgiving to the creator for a bumper harvest, promises to have as guests, the President General Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Dr John Nnia Nwodo; former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Chukwuma Soludo; the governor of Anambra State, Chief Dr Willie Obiano and a host of many others.
The event is billed to hold on the 25th of August 2018 at the Jubilee Sports Bank, Jubilee Drive, Liverpool.
