Nigeria’s multiple award-winning popstar, Davido, on Friday reacted on social media to reports that the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly froze seven accounts belonging to members of his family, the Adelekes.
Many say the EFFC purported freezing of the accounts is not unconnected with Senator Ademola Adeleke’s bid to become the next Governor of Osun after the September 22 gubernatorial election.
Senator Adeleke, who is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate at the election, is also Davido’s uncle.
Reacting to the development in response to a question from a fan on Twitter, Davido wrote, “Make dem go Wells Fargo for ATL na”.
It would be recalled that a few days ago, Davido announced that he will be actively taking part in the gubernatorial campaigns for his uncle.
