POLICE OFFICERS: The attention of the Anambra State Police Command has been drawn to online publications and in some National dailies that “some police officers in the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police in Anambra State on Sunday threatened to down tools over non-payment of their promotion allowances.”
The publications are not only false but also misleading and definitely a figment of the imagination of mischief makers who are bent on portraying the Command and it’s leadership in bad light, probably to achieve their selfish interest.

For the avoidance of doubt, officers and men of the Command are not only loyal, disciplined and hardworking but also highly professionals, who are guided by the ethics of the Force and, therefore, cannot indulge in this unwholesome act.
