The Nnamdi Azikiwe University College of Health Sciences, Nnewi, has elected new Provost, Prof. Okwudili O. Udemezue.
Prof. Udemezue, who took over from Prof. A.M.E Nwafor, at a mini ceremony held at the premesis of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, NAUTH, Nnewi, on Tuesday, October 30, promised to take the College to greater heights.

He assured that he would bring the College together as one family, cause the College to work together as one entity, identity common problems and solve them.
Prof. Udemezue
According to him, “My leadership wants to look at the problems of infrastructure, teaching and learning equipment, and research laboratories; without which, one won’t be talking about good College.
“We shall also look at manpower development, especially in such a way that those who entered as junior lecturers would have the opportunity to develop themselves and get to their expected heights.”

Among other positions held, Prof. Udemezue was one time HOD in the College, one time Sub-Dean and Dean of the College, and also member of the university’s Governing Council.
