OBIANO DID NOT DONATE N3B FOR BUHARI’S REELECTION PROJECT -Aide
Mr. James Eze, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, has dispelled the rumour making the rounds that his principal had donated a whopping N3bilion for President Mohamadu Buhari’s re-election project.
Online media platform, ElombahNews, had suggested that the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, donated a staggering sum of N3b cash belonging to the Anambra People to the President Muhammadu Buhari reelection project.
The insinuation, according to the online platform, was made by Mr. Emeka Umeagbalasi, the chairman of the International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety), a Southeast-based organisation.

The medium had claimed that Umeagbalasi informed it of the development during a telephone conversation, where Umeagbalasi also claimed that the revelation was made to him by a highly placed source close to Governor Obiano.
However, Eze told Anaedooline that such claim has no basis.
“I don’t know where such rumour is coming from. If people should tell lies, let them tell lies that could be believed.
“The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has a presidential candidate, therefore, the governor would not have supported Buhari, let alone contributing funds for his reelection”, he said.
