Technovation’s Regional pitching competitions (Senior Category) for Girls took place on 31st May at Onitsha city.

You May also recall that the “Golden Girls” who clinched the gold while representing Nigeria at Silicon Valley in this same Competition were students from a school located in Onitsha , with the founder of Edufun Tecknik STEM centre , Mrs Onwuamaegbu Ugwu being their trainer .

The impressive outing featured more than 13 secondary schools from some states in South-Eastern Nigeria and 16 teams who took time to pitch their solution-oriented ideas, not minding their ages.

The ideas spanned around technologically-based solutions to the varied societal problems in their societies.

At the end of the Competition, Two teams came out tops and also won a cash prize.
