Update On Refuse Dump Eradication In Nnewi (Video)
As the Governor’s drive to make Nnewi not just an investor-friendly destination but a clean zone, his directive in clearing every waste dump site in Nnewi is a feat most of stakeholders and residents are applauding.
Today being Sunday, the team are currently in front of Nnewi High School clearing the waste dump site that has been abandoned for over 2 months. The location of the waste dump shares a common fence with the very popular “Nnewi High School” that has one of the largest concentration of school children in Nnewi.

The Governor had acted in response to an editorial made by Anaedoonline.com last week tuesday, May 27th 2019 which urged him to declare a State of Emergency on Waste in Anambra State, specifically in Nnewi which has become an embarrassment.
