Femi Fani-Kayode has criticized the replacement of the economic team led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Recall that Buhari, on Monday, constituted a new Economic Advisory Council (EAC), immediately relieving Osinbajo led Economic Management Team (EMT).
The presidency, in a statement, Monday, said the EAC will have monthly technical sessions as well as scheduled quarterly meetings with the President.
The former aviation minister who reacted on his Twitter page,s reacting said by dissolving the economic management team, he has relegated and treated Osinbajo with contempt.
On his Twitter page, he wrote: “Despite his constant fawning on Buhari, his cowardly and quisling disposition and his penchant to defend the indefensible, Osinbajo seems to have been relegated and treated with disdain and contempt by the object of his praise and the recipient of his worship.

Also, Buhari on Tuesday dissolved the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) constituted by Osinbajo with Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla as Chairman
Furthermore, he said, “First he is thrown off the Economic Team,then some parastatals are removed from his supervision and finally he is told that he must get presidential approval for any expenses he seeks to incur.
“This is what happens when you hold yourself out cheaply to those who despise you.”
