Nigerians are watching in awe as a chartered flight crashed in Abuja Airport Airport.

A military aircraft has crashed just moments before hitting the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Confirming the incident, minister of aviation Hadi Sirika tweeted on Sunday that the aircraft reported engine failure en route Minna, Niger State capital.

Information available at press time shows there are no survivors.

“A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure en route Minna. It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of the investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.🇳🇬🤲🏽😩,” Mr Sirika said.
