The lawmaker representing Ibadan south constituency of West/North West Federal Constituency Oyo state Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo)has made the bold move to empower his constituents with a goat. Nigerian law markers have come under public scrutiny recently on the type of empowerment projects they carry out.
Nigerians have decried this saying a goat cost N14,000 or less and would have served another empowerment purpose. What should the constituents do with the goat. Rear it or make goat meat pepper soup or start selling Asun (a special goat meat meal). The lawmaker didn’t mention.

Some have applauded the law marker saying it is a good move, that if the constituents can make good use of the animal it will be profitable.
Recall that Hon. Adedeji presented car gifts to Odidiomo coordinators in his Constituency in 2019. The beneficiaries of the car gifts were Alhaji Sulaiman Adediran and Alfa Raman. According to the lawmaker, the car gifts were made possible by his Honourable colleague popularly known as Yemi Taiwo. He however thanked his constituents for the support he has enjoyed so far and assured them of more social responsibilities and welfare packages. Is the goat the welfare package.?
