He was still determined to make his mark in the music industry in the country and not quite long he auctioned for the Voice Nigeria, playing a cover of James Arthur’s “Roses”, a performance that saw all the four coaches turning their seats for him.

After that round, he decided to pair with team Patoranking. Chike performed Mario’s “Let me love you” with another Patoranking contestant in the battle stages which saw Chike being chosen to move to the next round.

Chike’s wonderful revelation didn’t stop there as he performed the song, “Not The Girl” by Dare Alade who was one of the four coaches. This earned him a save to progress on to the next stage during the live shows. Chike’s performance of the Weekend’s “Earned It” led to his being saved by the public’s vote in the second week of live shows.

In 2017, Chike ended his contract with the Universal Republic and became an independent singer, and released his first song independently in 2018 when he sang “Beautiful People”‘.

2020 can be called the year of Chike as he released his first album, a 14 track thriller named “Boo of the Booless” that waxed strong across the country.

Career in Nollywood

Not many are aware of the Thespian side of Chike. He is an actor and a good one at that. In 2017, he was part of the main cast of Africa Magic Original “Battleground” and its sequel which was a marriage with “Hush” – “Battleground: Final Showdown”.

Chike played the role of Mayowa Badmus the spoilt son of the crooked billionaire Badmus. His character took a deeper role as the show progressed and he owned this second personality.

Relationship status and net worth

From what we know of him and we may be wrong, Chike is currently single. While there might be rumours of his dating or relationships, it is to be known that Chike has not made any public acknowledgment of his relationship and we are yet to catch him. So he remains single until proven otherwise.

Chike is currently doing well for himself and is among one of the richest upcoming artistes. He currently has a net worth in the approximation of about 500,000 dollars. This is not a bad figure if it’s converted into our local currency.

But we must warn that this figure has no proven backing and is not something you should swear on in a shrine.
