Former Presidential candidate, Kingsley Moghalu, has charged Nigerians not to blame President Muhammadu Buhari for the defeat of the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles on Sunday crashed out of the tournament after losing to the North African side, Tunisia.
Following the disappointment, Nigerians took to social media platforms to blame the loss on President Buhari’s video call with the Super Eagles earlier before the match.

While others blamed Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, for the defeat.
Moghalu in his reaction to the development took to his Twitter account and wrote, “NGSuperEagles lost to Tunisia. Period. It’s not because President @MBuhari called them.
“Let’s not be superstitious, please. I’m sad though.”
