According to information that has reached us, an explosion has shaken the well-known Ogbo ogwu Market in Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to reports, the explosion, which occurred on Tuesday morning, destroyed a large number of market items. When reached, Engr. Martin Agbili, Managing Director of the Anambra State Fire Service, acknowledged the fire event but noted that it only affected a portion of the “Ogbo Ogwu” Market.
Fire Breaks Out At Onitsha Chemical Market
A fire broke out on Tuesday at Chemical Market, Onitsha Head Bridge in Anambra State.
It was gathered that the fire was as a result of chemical explosions in some shops at the market.

The Anambra Fire Chief stated that his personnel are currently on the spot battling the fire while noting that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. It has not yet been determined how much damage the fire has caused.
