Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has invited President Muhammadu Buhari and Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate Peter Obi to launch certain projects in the state.
The Governor, who was recently awarded a Distinguished Award in Infrastructure by President Buhari, also welcomed former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman and former Edo Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, to the project’s opening.
From November 14 through December 2nd, Wike will launch over 16 finished projects, including world-class multi-billion dollar health and education facilities.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Buhari would dedicate the completed and furnished world-class Nabo Graham Douglas Campus of the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt, in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, on November 18.
While Peter Obi is slated to open the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover in Port Harcourt on November 16, Oshomhole has been asked to open the Rumepirikon Flyover on November 15.
The Emir of Kano, HRH Ado Bayero, has also been asked to kick off the series of activities by launching a huge health project, the Dr. Peter Odili Cancer and Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.
The freshly finished Federal Judicial Commission Liaison Office and Justice Mary Odili Judicial Institute will be inaugurated by the Chief Justice of the Federation, while the Police Intelligence Centre will be inaugurated by the Inspector-General of Police.

The governor had yet to assign someone to inaugurate other projects on the list.
Mgbutanwo Internal Roads, Rukpoku-Rumuapu-Igwuruta Link Road, Akpabu-Itu-Umudiagha Road, Rukpakwulusi-Eliogbolo Community New Layout Road, Basic Clinical Science Building, Renal and Dialysis Centre at RSUTH, Rumuodogho 1 and 2 and Mgbuoaimini Road are examples of such initiatives.
