Senator Dayo Adeyeye, a former Minister of State for Works, has slammed those wishing for an interim administration in Nigeria before of the May 29 handover date.

He further stated that those who believe Peter Obi of the Labour Party will be sworn in instead of President-elect Bola Tinubu are misguided and should abandon the notion.

Adeyeye, the National Coordinator of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), stated that he and other patriotic Nigerians will not fold their hands but will oppose any attempt to undermine the country’s democracy.

According to the SWAGA organizer, people who advocate for an interim government are fostering chaos.

According to news reports, he made the comment during an interview with newsmen, in which he reacted to a prophecy by Bishop Feyi Daniels, who claimed that Obi, not Tinubu, will be sworn in as Nigeria’s next President.

He referred to the prophecy as “the noise” of those attempting to sow discord, as well as “false predictions pushing the so-called “Obidients.”

Senator Adeyeye maintained that the February 25 election that produced Tinubu may not be perfect but it was “very good and transparent, making it the best ever to be conducted since 1999”.

He urged politicians not to engage in harsh politics, instead choosing to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship rather than tearing the country apart because they lost an election.

“A fake pastor was saying Tinubu will be declared winner…an interim government would be formed and the government will give it to Peter Obi.

“And I Dayo Adeyeye will be a citizen of this country and allow that to happen? We will join forces with others to oppose it,” he vowed.
