Festus Keyamo, the Chief Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), has reacted to the court decision prohibiting the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, from parading himself as the party’s leader.

According to media reports, the Federal Capital Territory High Court issued an injunction on Wednesday prohibiting Abure, the party’s National Secretary, Farouk Ibrahim; National Organising Secretary, Clement Ojukwu; and Treasurer, Oluchi Opara, from acting as LP national executives.

The restraining order was imposed by Justice Hamza Muazu while ruling on an ex-parte plea argued by one James Onoja.

In his application, Onoja described how Abure and others allegedly faked multiple documents from the FCT High Court in order to carry out illegal substitutes in the previous general elections.

Judge Muazu ruled in his ruling that the application and supporting affidavits make a strong case for the request to be granted.

As a result, he ordered that the four officers immediately cease representing themselves as National Officers of the party.

On Wednesday, Keyamo responded to the development via his Twitter account, chastising the party for the current crisis hurting its national leadership.
