Naira Marley and Sam Larry Granted N20 Million Bail in Mohbad’s Case

In a recent development, a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, has granted bail to singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry. The bail is set at N20 million with three responsible sureties.

Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two other individuals were arraigned and remanded on October 6 due to their alleged involvement in the circumstances surrounding the death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.

The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, laid out the conditions for their bail, which included the surrender of their passports and a requirement to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.

Olatunbosun cautioned that no one should attempt to contact her directly regarding the case, emphasizing that any such attempts would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.

This bail decision represents a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings related to Mohbad’s death, and further details will be disclosed as the case progresses.
