Delegates And Representatives From Min. Of Finance Pays Courtesy Visit To Innoson Vehicle Plant (Photos)

Delegates and Representatives from the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning from different states of the federation paid a courtesy/site visit to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Plant located at Uru Umudim Nnewi in Anambra State, Nigeria on 10th October 2019 as part of their Conference schedule.

The Delegates which was said to be on a 3day Conference of their !8th meeting of the Joint Planning Board (JPB) and National Council on Development Planning (NCDP) in collaboration with Delta State Government which commenced on Wed. 9th October at Event Center, Okpanam, Asaba Delta State with the theme, “State Fiscal Sustainability and Economic Diversification in Nigeria”, decided to come down to Anambra State to visit IVM Plant.

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant which happens to be a sponsor of the Conference organized by the Ministry was visited in grand style by these delegates covering all states of the federation.

Speaking to Anaedoonline.com, some of the delegates expressed their joy and fulfillment beholding such gigantic Plant in Anambra State. Some of them said it is their first time visiting the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant.

Dr. E. Lenou, an IFAS Country representative from Florida expressed her utmost satisfaction on the sight of the Plant, saying that this type of development should be commended by the Ministry and patronage should be paramount.

Another delegate, HRH Oba Barr. Olarenwaju Ajayi (Oba of Gbomma, Ekiti State), in his words, thanked Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso) for his determination and commitment to making this great achievement and also appealed to Nigerians to purchase the vehicles.

Beelo Magawale and Peter Ojo Stephen, delegates from Kebbi and Kogi State respectively said that this great development is commendable; telling the federal, and State Government to purchase these vehicles for their staffs, officials and workers even as their own personal cars.

In an interview with Chief Innocent Chukwuma, he thanked the delegates and representatives for taking out time to visit his Plant. When asked of the challenges facing the Plant, he pointed out that there are challenges but if there is steady patronage of the vehicles that many challenges will be eliminated.
