On the 10th of October 2018 two different Atiku support groups merged together into one body which they call the Great Atiku Solidarity Movement in an event held at Computer house in Awka, Anambra state.
The two support groups who despite being in support of Atiku; and formerly operated separately, have decided to add their efforts together.
During the meeting at Awka, according to one of their executives, the main reason for their coming together, was in a bid to achieve more strength and unity.
In attendance were Hon. Ben Obidigbo national leader, Comr. Egbeji Obi the National Chairman of the group, the state chairman, Chief Akunwanne Igwe and Deputy chairman Mrs Agatha Aniazoka among other delegates.
