Barr. Uzoma Eli of Fegge Ward IV, in Anambra State, has been adopted by the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, to replace late Hon. Patrick Aniunoh, the candidate of the party in Onitsha South I, who died on 26th February, 2019.
In a release issued by Barr Noel Udeoji, the secretary of the party in Onitsha South LGA, which was made available to Anaedooline on Monday, March 4, the party said the choice of Barr Uzoma was reached by the party after due and proper consultations, in line with relevant provisions of the law.
The release reads, “Recall that on Tuesday, February 16, 2019, the party was notified of the unfortunate demise of the member of Anambra State House of Assembly; the candidate of APGA standing reelection for Onitsha South Constituency I, Hon. Patrick Aniunoh.
“Consequent upon the development, the party, APGA, after due and proper consultations, in line with relevant provisions of the law, found Barr Uzoma Eli of Fegge Ward 4, native of Awka Etiti in Anambra State, worthy to replace the deceased candidate, and his name indeed, forwarded to INEC, with other necessary documentations, as APGA candidate for Onitsha South I State Constituency election for March 9, 2019, election.
“By this notice, APGA hereby officially presents Barr Uzoma Eli as APGA candidate for Onitsha South I State Constituency election, and we ask our members, party supporters, and the electorate to support him come March 9.”

Recall that on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, the party was notified of the unfortunate demise, after a brief illness, of the Member of Anambra State House of Assembly, Awka, and our son, the candidate of APGA standing reelection for Onitsha South I state constituency, *Hon. Sir. Patrick Paddy Obiorah Aniunoh (Nwazodoaku)* in the rescheduled March 9th State assembly election. May his soul rest in perfect peace…Amen.

UZOMA ELI of Fegge ward 4, native of Awka-Etiti in Anambra State,* worthy to replace the deceased candidate, and his name indeed forwarded to INEC, with other necessary documentations, as APGA candidate for Onitsha South I state constituency election.
By this notice, we (the party) hereby officially presents *Barr Uzoma Eli* as APGA Candidate for March 9th 2019, Onitsha South I State Constituency election and we ask our members, party supporters, the electorates, to vote enmass for APGA and for BARR UZOMA ELI come March 9th.
