“BLOODY MORNING” AT ABAKILIKI QUATERS AS TENANT MURDERS CO-TENANT IN NNEWI

An man has reportedly killed another man at Okpuno-Eze Uruage Nnewi after a heated argument .

A man living at Abakiliki Quaters in Okpuno-Eze Uruagu Nnewi , Anambra State named Emmanuel Igwe ( aka Ogodo ) allegedly murdered a male co-tenant who goes by the name Chibueze Unah ( aka Nyadiba ) ,a native of Abakiliki on the 24th of March at around 1am after a heated argument which led into a fight.

Speaking to Anaedoonline.com , a close friend to the deceased , Pastor Philip Okeke narrated the unfortunate incidence , he said ” On the early hours of Sunday around 2:00am, I came out of my room only to see Chibueze lying unconcious on the floor of the compound close to the shop where a co-tenant known as Papa Oge sells local dry gin and alcoholic drinks with .

After contacting his siblings on the phone informing them of what happened , I carried him to my front door till day break . When the day broke, some of Chibueze’s siblings gathered and one of his sisters brought money for Chibueze to be taken to the hospital.

Speaking on what might have transpired in the night , Pastor Philip Okeke said ” I gathered that there were seven men at Papa Oge’s shop that night when the incident occured, then Emmanuel Igwe called Chibueze out of the shop and challenging him to a fight. When they were outside doing all these things , non of the men who were present as at that time saperated them untill Chibueze fell on the ground helpless , they all left him there and went into their rooms. ”

Speaking Futher , Visibly Angry Pastor Philip Okeke continued “In the morning when Chibueze’s siblings arrived , We took Chibueze to the Ebenator hospital, unfortunately , the doctor was not around so we were referred to Nnewi Diocesan Hospital (Akwudo) where the wife of Chibueze had been admitted for over one week because of high blood pressure.”

According Pastor Philips , it was at Akwudo Hospital that Chibueze was confirmed dead , his body was subsequently deposited in Akwudo Mortuary.
