Removal of Mentally Challenged Persons from the Streets of Anambra State, Continues.(Photos)
In line with the directive by the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, to rid the streets of Anambra State, of mentally challenged persons, this week, the taskforce sadled with the responsibility of sanitizing the streets in the state, led by the Honorable commissioner for women and children affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, rescued a number of mentally challenged individuals from the streets of Awka and Amawbia.

The few mentally challenged persons rescued this week, were cautiously relocated to home for the mentally challenged, Nteje, where they will be rehabilitated, equipped with skills and reunited with their familirs and society , after they are certified cured.
