Is Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso A Peace Maker or A Trouble Maker? (Video)

The youths and various stakeholders in Obosi have begun to wonder the intent and purposes of Rev Fr. Emmanuel Obimma popularly known as Ebube Muonso in encroaching by force and erecting some structures on a property that does not belong to him.

On further investigation, anaedoonline.ng understands that the property belongs to Prince Chiedu Kodilinye who is from Umuota village in Obosi and which the owner bought the same from Prince and Princess Properties Ltd.

According to the caretaker of the property belonging to Prince Chiedu, on the 12th of August 2019, Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso and his agents went into Prince Chiedu Kodilinye’s property which is about 25 plots of land and forcefully took a portion of the land amounting to about 7 plots.

Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso and his agents locked up Prince Chiedu Kodilinye’s gate situated at the entrance of the land and started erecting another wall inside the land where Reverend Ebube Mumbai claimed is the boundary between him and Prince Chiedu Kodilinye.

On noticing the breach, Prince Chiedu Kodilinye through his Caretaker reported to the Disciplinary/Land Recovery Committee, Obosi for them to settle the dispute and ascertain the motive behind Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso unlawful actions.

Unfortunately, the Rev Father refused to honour two letters of invitation extended to him asking him to report to Igwe’s Palace where a panel will listen to both parties.

Other peaceful means, Prince Chiedu Kodilinye, and his caretaker embarked on to get Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso follow the path of peace has been resisted by the Reverend Father.

A villager by name, Kenneth Ichu from Uro village Obosi explained in details to anaedoonline.ng the supposed fact of the matter.

He said,” I know the bonafide owner of this property, I was aware when and how the purchase was made, we approached the villagers and owners of the property. The entire property is about 25 plots of land. Mr. Chiedu Kodilinye bought this property. We met the owners of the property and they certified that they sold the property first to U.C.C Company who in turn sold it out to Minaj(Senator Mike Ajegbo). Minaj Broadcasting Service(Mike Ajegbo) sold it to Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) who finally sold it to Chiedu Kodilinye.”

” The entire 25 plots of land. The entire Obosi citizenry, the Obosi youth, the body in charge of land matters in Obosi, the owners of the land are all against this encroachment by Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso. They are all ready to testify in the court against Ebube Muonso.”

Mr. Kenneth continued, “ I am aware that there was a time Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso approached Prince Chiedu Kodilinye asking him to lease some plots of his (Chinedu) land to him but Prince Chiedu told him (Ebube Muonso) that the land will not be enough for him for the project/structure he has in mind to carry out/erect on the land . Suddenly, Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso deployed his men who erected a fence taking seven plots of land out of Prince Chiedu’s 25 plots of land.”

Rev Fr. Ebube Muonso reportedly sent his thugs, Military men to harass and force Prince Chiedu’s workers that were at work on the site.
