The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has berated Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, southern Nigeria, for banning the meeting of Igbo people in the state. It was understood that Kanu berated Governor Wike during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Sunday evening, April 11.

Hope Uzodinma, The Governor of Imo State has said that what the Igbo ethnic group wants is “justice, equity, and fairness,” not Biafra. Uzodinma said this while delivering his opening address at the first South-East security meeting held on Sunday, April 11, 2021, in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
