The Chaplain Corps Police Explorers (CHAPOL), Anambra State Command, Thursday, decorated the Bishop of Anglican Diocese, Nnewi, Rt. Rev. Ndubuisi Obi as a Distinguished Patron of the organisation.

The State Commandant of CHAPOL Anambra state, Joseph Ekwunife performed the decoration in company of some officials of the CHAPOL as they visited the Bishop in Nnewi in Anambra State.

Speaking to Anaedoonline, Mr. Ekwunife explained that the recognition was in honour of his lordship’s dedication and support to humanity, noting that the Bishop’s vision aligns with that of CHAPOL, making him the best suited for such decoration.

The Commandant added that fighting immorality cannot be achieved without the God factor. Rt. Rev Obi joins other fathers of faith whose spiritual inclination helps provide a covering and a voice for the organisation.

The author of ‘Out of the Crowd’ advises secondary school students to shun vices and make a decision to achieve high moral standards.

“Most times, your vision determines the kind of person you choose to partner with…most times, we go to our Fathers of Faith because we believe that we can tap into their grace as they become a voice for us, helping to fight immorality from the roots…”

To the secondary school students, the author of ‘Out of the Crowd’ advises that they shun vices and make a decision to achieve high moral standards.

CHAPOL HOLDS SEMINAR TO EDUCATE STUDENTS ON GOOD MORALS

Receiving the Decoration, the Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi said that he has a burden for students in secondary schools and will continue to do his best to ensure that they continually get the needed guidance towards a bright future.

Bishop Obi revealed that the government approved moral instruction time for students in secondary schools amongst other measures have been put in place to ensure that moral decadence is eradicated from the Youths.

“Over 7 thousand students in 17 secondary schools have benefited from the moral instruction programme for Anglican Schools in Nnewi and the efforts of CHAPOL is welcomed as they are part of a worthy cause…”

He thanked God for giving the CHAPOL such great vision and prayed for God’s enabling grace as they carry out their various projects.

“I have a burden for students and will always mobilize a workforce to touch the lives of Youths positively…”

CHAPOL, a para-millitary and non governmental organisation has been noted for their partnership with the government to fight social vices in government secondary schools.

For 9 years, the self funded organisation has recorded tremendous results in shaping the lives of youths all over the state. Places like Ogidi, Otuocha and Aguata zones are currently benefiting from projects organized by the CHAPOL.

The visit featured top personalities of CHAPOL ; Deputy Commandant, CHAPOL Okechukwu Belonwu, State School coordinator for Youth and Women Affairs Lovefrank Aniakor, Nnewi Coordinator Madu Nwaoha Ferdinand, State Director of Operations, Anambra State Command Nwashili Kingsley, Nanka Unit Commander Mike Ubamadu and Ukpor Unit Commander Sylvester Akelu.
