Expose The Truth Behind Mohbad’s Death – Jandor Tasks Security Agencies

Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, is running for governor of Lagos State in the 2023 elections on behalf of the People’s Democratic Party. He has called for thoroughness in the investigation into what caused the sudden passing of rising Afrobeats star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

The artist, 27, died under mysterious circumstances, and the subsequent public outrage, according to Adediran, damaged the reputation of the nation’s music business.

He asked law enforcement organisations to investigate the situation thoroughly in order to uncover the truth and make sure that justice is done.

This was said in a statement made on Tuesday night by Gbenga Ogunleye, the organization’s head of media and communications for the JANDOR4GOVERNOR Campaign.

He asserted that there were numerous suspicions of collusion involving important figures in the music industry and that the news of Mohbad’s death was cloaked in secrecy and foul play.

The statement partly read, “Adediran described the unfortunate incident and the attendant public outcry on attempts to cover up the matter as a huge drawback to the entertainment industry in the country. He advocated that law enforcement agencies need to unravel the truth and ensure no case of injustice is allowed by carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

“He laments the untimely death of such a budding talent and the anxiety among music fans on the perceived dangers and shady undercutting going on in the entertainment industry. “This is a big blow to the image of our music industry,” he said.

The Lagos State Police Command established a 13-person panel to look into the real reason for his demise, but the state’s governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also invited the Department of State Services to participate in the investigation.

Following the conclusion of the investigation, Sanwo-Olu, who on Tuesday mourned the loss of the late musician, pledged that anyone found to be responsible would be brought to face the wrath of the law.
